Mountain Flying

 

 

Nothing is more challenging or rewarding than masterying mountain flying, especially in the windy Northern Nevada and High Sierra region of eastern California and Western Nevada. With this course you will learn about density altitude, wind shear, illusions, thunderstorms, aircraft perforamance, procedures for high mountain airports, emergency procedures, and how to land at some of the most challenging short and soft field airports in the region! So maybe your an old pro who is a little bit rusty or a novice who longs for the beauty of the the mountains and desert from 1000' agl, either way we can accommodate you and every other pilot inbetween.
